HISTORYBased in Lançon de Provence, France, ETIC was founded in January 2006 by partners Michel Mourier and Pierre Barlier who have 30 years of experience in railway stock and railway traction sector.
After its initial mission to consult in renovation and maintenance for railway traction equipment, ETIC then began handling promotion and maintenance for rail-route equipment.
In 2009, Yannick Rouaud took over for Pierre Barlier. He is specialised in railway automation and special-purpose machines.
Bolstered by its technical experience and know-how, in 2009 ETIC began researching, designing and producing a new rail-route railway traction device called the B-Track.
The prototype has a tare weight of 24 tons and steam power of 200 HP. It was put into service in November 2010.
ETIC also provides full-service multi-year leases for rail-route equipment, locotractors and locomotives and offers its customers emergency backup equipment and very short-term rentals.
ETIC provides support for all types of railway equipment and special-purpose devices :
• Multi-year contracts for renovation, modernisation and maintenance.

In less than five years, ETIC has become the partner for several industrial and public companies for projects involving its full range of railway equipment services.
